The last set of photographs for our Rotary District 6110 powerpoint presentation where received today from Scott VanAsche. Scott had his pictures prepared in a powerpoint format so they were easy for Malcolm Turner to add to the presentation. We haven't had an opportunity to go through the show together. Maybe we can do that on the plane!

We are leaving from the Northwest Arkansas airport on Friday, Ocotber 31, 2008 at 11.25 a.m. and we will arrive at the Narita airport near Tokyo on Saturday, November 1 at 5:35 p.m. We have a short lay over in Minneapolis, MN. The flight from Minnenapolis is twelve hours and 40 minutes. I aanticipate that the trip over to Japan will be the least favorite part of the month long tour outside America.

I was selected as the Rotary District 6110 team leader in July and will take a team of three young professional men to Japan for the month of November. The Rotary Foundation objective of the Group Study Exchange program is to help build better understand and goodwill between countries. Our cultures are quite different but I think we share many of the same core values. It will be a great educational opportunity for all of us.
